The Insurance Claims Process
We guide you through every step and handle the paperwork
Contact Us First (Optional but Recommended)
Call us immediately. We can help assess the damage and guide you on whether to file a claim. Not all damage requires a claim - sometimes it's better to pay out of pocket.
File Your Claim
Contact your insurance company's claims department. Have your policy number ready and provide basic details about what happened. Take photos/videos before anything is moved.
We Document Everything
Our team thoroughly documents the damage with photos, moisture readings, and detailed notes. We create a comprehensive scope of work with itemized pricing for your adjuster.
Insurance Adjuster Visit
Your insurance company sends an adjuster to assess the damage. We meet with them, walk them through everything, and answer technical questions. We advocate for complete and proper restoration.
Claim Approval & Payment
Once approved, insurance issues payment (minus deductible). We can bill insurance directly via assignment of benefits, or you can pay us and get reimbursed. We work with what's easiest for you.
Restoration Work Begins
With approval in place, we start the restoration. If there are coverage disputes, we help document and advocate for additional items. We don't start major work without claim approval.
